Mario Herger
Senior Innovation Strategist, SAP Labs - Palo Alto, California

Mario has been Senior Innovation Strategist at SAP Labs in Palo Alto, California and Global Head of the Gamification Initiative at SAP. In 2013 he co-founded and currently heads the Austrian Innovation Center Silicon Valley (AICSV). He has been driving communities for more than 15 years, including innovative topics, like Visual Composer, Business Process Experts, mobile, robotics, and gamification.

In his work as head of the Gamification Initiative at SAP he has encountered and supported gamification efforts in the enterprise from multiple levels and departments, like Sustainability, On Demand, Mobile, HR, Training & Education, Banking etc. He has driven the awareness around gamification by organizing and leading innovation events around this topic, holding dozens of one- or two-day gamification workshops, working with gamification platform- & service-providers and game studios, consulting and advising organizations, and by incorporating gamification into SAP's strategy.

He regularly speaks at and co-organizes conferences on gamification and innovation (amongst other topics). His large network of gamification and innovation allows him to pull in experts into projects. He has a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from the Vienna University of Technology and an undergraduate degree in International Business Management from the Vienna University of Economy. He recently played through all levels of the iPad game Air Attack and currently works with his six year old son on reaching the final level of Angry Birds in Space.

Isabell M. Welpe
Chair for Strategy and Organization, Technische Universitat Munchen

Isabell M. Welpe holds the Chair for Strategy and Organization at the Technische Universitat Munchen in Munich, Germany. Her research interests are in leadership and organisational design and behaviour.

Prof. Isabell studied management at the Ludwig-Maximilians-Universitat in Munich, Germany and at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Boston, USA. She completed an additional MSc at the London School of Economics before finishing her PhD at the University of Regensburg. She has been a visiting professor at the Keck Graduate Institute, Claremont, USA and a postdoctoral fellow at the Carlson School of Management at the University of Minnesota. Before taking over the Chair for Strategy and Organization at the Technische Universitat Munchen, she worked at the Max Planck Institute for Economics.

Prof. Isabell teaches leadership, human resource management, and managing people and organizations. She has taught on the faculty of Claremont University, EM Lyon, Ludwig-Maximilians-Universitat and the University of Berne, Switzerland. She is an editorial board and review member of several academic and professional journals and the author of several books and edited volumes as well as over 60 articles and book chapters. Her research has appeared in such journals as Human Relations, Journal of Personnel Psychology, Organization Studies, among others.

Chitra Sarmma
Senior Manager, Leadership & Organization Development, Infosys Leadership Institute

Chitra Sarmma is Senior Manager for Leadership & Organization Development at Infosys Leadership Institute (ILI). She started her career in the engineering industry and brings with her a blend of experience with different industries. Over a career spanning 21 years, she has held key positions in human resource development in various organizations delivering HR and OD initiatives. She has also started and grown two organizations as an entrepreneur. In her current role, Chitra works with senior leaders as their coach for their development and growth. She also leads several ILI initiatives, including designing serious games for leadership development, thought / content leadership roadmap (a key leadership dimension at Infosys), full-range leadership roadmap, and research on serious games. In addition, Chitra has co-authored the chapter on thought / content leadership in the book 'Leadership @ Infosys'. She is currently working on a book related to serious games and leadership development.

Rakesh Mishra

Rakesh Kumar Mishra heads the Enterprise Gamification CoE at Infosys Labs that aims to establish differentiated and high-value solutions for the gamification. He works closely with many Fortune 500 enterprises to co-create innovative gamification solutions as a strategic approach to rediscover the people engagement. He is also chief evangelist for gamification strategies across different business verticals within Infosys. He has been in the industry for more than 17 years with well-rounded experience across a wide spectrum of technology, enterprise processes and large program delivery.

Johny Jose

A relentless learner, he has been programming since age 10. During his 2nd year at college, he interned at CERN for 6 months, where he worked on a MonteCarlo Sampler for nuclear reactions and rewrote the build systems for the ALICE experiment.

Yu-kai is also the creator of The Complete Gamification Framework: Octalysis as well as the video series The Beginner's Guide to Gamification. He is the Co-Founder and Head of Product for RewardMe, a digital loyalty platform that aims to gamify offline commerce and was rated by AlwaysOn as one of the Top 10 Private Companies to Watch. Rajiv Vaid Basaiawmoit

Rajiv Vaid Basaiawmoit, Ph.D., MBA is an interdisciplinary scientist in the true sense of the word. It doesn't get more interdisciplinary than this as you will see further. Rajiv combines a Masters of Science in Biotechnology, with a PhD in Biophysics, a post-doctorate in nanotechnology (where he used nano-tools to investigate the workings of an eye protein to correlate with what goes on in an Alzheimer's brain!), an MBA in Sustainability (in the broad sense of the word but specializing in a unique zero-waste tolerance philosophy known as Cradle-to-Cradle) and then moving to a department of Business and Social Science working with an HR expert and psychologist to understand the barriers of interdisciplinary collaboration using none other than what -- yes you guessed it, Games!

Currently Rajiv is a Researcher and consultant, Centre for Entrepreneurship & Innovation teaching sci-tech students amongst others on how to be entrepreneurial while at the same time conducting research on gamification and entrepreneurial identity. He also researches onto the concept of international or rather expatriate entrepreneurship and is a jury member of an awesome national startup program "LaunchPad Denmark". In his spare time he plays games, designs games and tries solving some of the most pressing social problems of the world today with games! Some of his novel ideas pitched in front of some of the world's big names have certainly caught their attention. They include, amongst others, former US President Bill Clinton, Nobel Prize winner Prof. Muhammad Yunus, CEO of the world's largest child-care NGO Dubai Cares Sheikh Tariq Al-gurg. His latest project (currently being implemented by an international NGO Sightsavers) is helping rural children in India overcome preventable blindness by making wearable glasses accessible and friendly and gamification is certainly at its heart again!
